- All core Trova features (split pixel canvas, merging tool, color matching challenge, all creative controls) are 100% usable without creating an account, logging in, or sharing any personal information with us.
- We will never ask you for your name, phone number, email address, or location just to use the app.
- No hidden tracking that follows your activity outside of Trova, period.
📫 When We Might Receive Information From You
The only time we receive any personal information from you is when you choose to reach out to us directly:
- If you send us an email to report bugs, ask questions, or share feedback, we will only have access to the contact details and content you choose to include in your message.
- We only use this information to respond to your request, fix issues, or improve Trova. We will never add you to a mailing list, share your contact with third parties, or use it for any other purpose without your explicit permission.
- You can ask us to delete all records of your correspondence with us at any time, and we will do so immediately.
🎨 Your Creations Are 100% Private & Yours
Every pixel you draw, every half-finished draft, every merged memory you make with your partner, friend or family member belongs fully to you:
- All of your artwork is stored locally on your own device by default. We do not transmit, store, or access any of your designs on our servers unless you explicitly opt in to optional features like cloud backup (if offered).
- If you choose to use cloud sync or shared workspace features, your content is only accessible to you and the person you are creating with. No one on the Trova team will ever view, copy, or use your artwork for any reason (including marketing, product demos, or social media) unless you explicitly give us written permission to do so.
- You retain full copyright over every design you create on Trova. We make no claim to your creative work, ever.
🛡️ Anonymous Data We May Collect
To keep Trova running smoothly for everyone, we may collect fully anonymous, non-identifiable data:
- Aggregated crash reports to help us fix bugs and improve app stability for all users
- Anonymous usage data (like how often the merge feature is used, or how many people try the color matching challenge) to help us prioritize new features
- None of this data can be linked back to you as an individual, and we never combine it with any personal information you may share voluntarily.
🚫 We Never Sell Your Data
We will never sell, rent, lease, or share any of your personal information or your creative content with third parties for any reason, including advertising or commercial purposes. Trova exists to help you make memories, not monetize your data.
🤝 Your Rights
- You can delete all Trova-related data stored on your device at any time by clearing the app’s cache or uninstalling the app.
- You can request that we delete any correspondence or personal information you have shared with us via email at any time, with no questions asked.
- You can stop using Trova at any time, and we will not retain any of your information after that unless you have explicitly given us permission to keep it.
🧒 For Young Users
Trova is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13, and if we become aware that we have received any personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
🔄 Updates To This Policy
We may update this privacy policy occasionally as we add new features to Trova. If we make any material changes that impact how we handle your information, we will post a prominent notice in the app at least 7 days before the changes go into effect. You are free to stop using Trova if you do not agree with the updated terms, no hard feelings!
